Location:

The main city area of Singapore is nestled along the shores of the Singapore river and the entire nation is filled with high density areas. By Road:
There is an excellent road network between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Visitors can cross borders from the Causeway over the Straits of Johor. Several transport companies offer air-conditioned bus services between Singapore and almost all major Malaysian cities

Jurong Bird Park:

This is the largest Bird park, in South East Asia. It is home to over 8000 birds of 600 species from all over the world. The worlds largest collection of Southeast Asian Hornbills and South American Toucans & World’s second larges Penguin are the highlights included here. Daily shows include Breakfast with Birds (9 to 11 am) Birds of Prey, Penguin Feeding Time and the Jurong Bird Park All Stars Bird Show.

Tang dynasty city
Described as one of Singapore’s most prominent theme parks, Tang Dynasty City is a recreation of life in Chang’an (or Xian) during the Tang dynasty between 6 and 8 AD. The theme park features, temples, a geisha house, shops, and restaurants all constructed in the style you would have found during the Tang civilization.
Snow City
Snow City, Singapore's first indoor snow centre, filled with 150 tonnes of snow on our slope and snow play area, uses an entertaining yet educational approach to introduce sub zero climate to our visitors. The snow chamber is maintained at minus five degrees Celsius, Provides winter activities like snowtubing, skiing and snowboarding for the visitors.Visitors can also explore the igloo and have snow ball fights at the snow play area.

Night Safari:
This is the first attraction of its kind in the entire world. Individuals who visit the Night Safari will get to be treated to the tour of a lifetime, visiting nocturnal animals from around the world in habitats as close to their natural as possible. The Sentosa Island
This is located in the Southern part of Singapore. This is one of the best known resort Island. This is packed with attractions. The latest attraction is its Resorts World, an enormous integrated resort, where you can find Singapore’s first casino. There are also exciting shopping malls and hotels here. The Universal Studios Themepark is ready to welcome you too.
Also don’t miss the Underwater World, Dolphin Lagoon, Fort Siloso, Magical Musical Fountain and beautiful beaches.

Little India:
Here, you can find Indian spices, ethnic jewellery, jasmine garlands, silk saris to parrot fortune tellers giving advice along the corridor. It is more lively, during Deepavali, the Indian Festival of Lights, (Oct & Nov) . By this time, Little India turns into a fairyland of lights and the whole place is lit up. There are endless Indian things are here for you to discover.

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum:

It is a huge temple, founded in 2002. It is built in the Tang Dynasty style, actually this is a Chinese Cultural centre. Also encompassing a museum, reference library, theatre, dining hall providing free meals, and of course the magnificient reliquary that gives the temple its name. The sacred tooth is on the fourth floor, encased in a magnificient golden stupa.

Mount Faber:     

This place offers landscaped gardens and lush greenery. And vantage points at its peak provide scenic views of the harbor, Sentosa Island and the other south lying Islands of Singapore. Here, visitors can board a cable car to Sentosa or just enjoy the panoramic view of Singapore.

Singapore Flyer:

This is the local version of London-Eye, just now inaugurated and is stirring up excitement within the country. The Flyer bursts with metropolitan glitz as its multi coloured lights dot the edge of the city centre. Climbing aboard this Ferris Wheel, you can have dinner in one of its huge cabins. From here, the aerial view of the Malay Archipelago, is breathtaking, allowing you to grasp the tropical landscapes of nearby islands.

Esplanade Singapore

This place can be spotted from afar, as it stands unique by spiky architecture and its modern exterior. Here you can have a glimpse of Singapore’s art and culture apart from the various museums and ethnic quarters. The other thrill experience is there are free indoor performances daily.

Shopping:
Singapore is an excellent place for shopping and has over 250 shopping malls to visit. Prices vary depending on the shopping areas. Orchard Road , will be bit costlier, but you will find the high end brands like Gucci and Prada. Other places to shop include Bugis, Suntec and at Chinatown. The shops usually open by 9 am to 10 pm, but many shops especially those in Suntec City, Funan and some others do not open before 11 am. On Orchard Road every Saturday, shopping & dining hours extend till 11 pm.
Travel Tips:
·         As Singapore is hot & humid, Pack light summer clothing  and dress comfortably.
·         Don’t forget ot bring your cooling apparels and hats.
·         You can have a great gastronomic food experience and enjoy Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Thai, Japanese food etc.
·         If eating with a Chinese, don’t point your chopsticks at them or leave them standing in a bowl, as its seen as being rude.
·         Sharing a table with strangers is a common practice.
·         April, is a month full of feasting with Singapore Food Festival, so manage to be in Singapore to relish your tastebuds.
