Location:
Sydney is Australia’s largest and most populous city. It is the State Capital of New South Wales. It is located on Australia’s south east coast of the Tasman Sea.

How to Reach:
By Air:
Sydney International Airport is 8km (5 miles) from the city center. Shuttle buses link the international and domestic terminals. The journey takes up to 10 minutes and operates frequently in the morning peak period, then every half-hour until 8pm.

By Train:
Central Station is the main city and interstate train station. It's at the top of George Street in downtown Sydney. All interstate trains depart from here, and it's a major CityRail hub

By Bus:
Greyhound coaches operate from the Sydney Coach Terminal on the corner of Eddy Avenue and Pitt Street, bordering Central Station.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge
It is one of Sydney's most famous landmarks. This massive steel-arch Bridge, known locally as the "Coat Hanger", opened in 1932. It is the world's largest bridge and it carries eight vehicle lanes, two train lines, a footway and a cycleway.

Bondi Beach
This is a Popular sandy beach located 7km from downtown. The beach is about a kilometre long and is a great place to sunbathe and watch the surfers etc. You can also walk a delightful coastal path.

Toranga Zoo
Here, you can have a close look of som native Australian animals and hand feed them with the guidance of expert Zoo keepers. Go behind the scenes in the nightlife house for encounters with nocturnal creatures. Also includes a round trip ride on the Sky Safari cable car.


Northern Beaches

Sydney’s lovely northern beaches are a natural wonderland for relaxing, swimming and strolling the many beachside shops and cafes. Visit the Baha’i House of Worship; experience the incredible Shark Dive Xtreme at Oceanworld Manly; and take a trip to Waratah Park Earth Sanctuary to see Sydney the way it was before Europeans arrived.


Royal Botanic Gardens:

A stroll through this Gardens, particularly in the spring when plants and trees start to blossom, is a pleasure many like to take. For a perfect view of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge together walk to Mrs Macquaries Point. It’s a  great place for picture taking.


The Sydney Explorer Bus:
The bright red Sydney Explorer buses take you to Sydney sightseeing attractions all over the city on a designated route. This is a hop-on, hop-off service on one ticket. There is also a Bondi Explorer bus, which is painted blue and takes in some of Sydney’s best-known beaches.


Cloud nine balloon flights:
Escape on a romantic adventure where you can escape, relax and enjoy the excitement of the oldest and greatest form of flight. Hot air ballooning is an aerial adventure you must experience at least once in your lifetime.


Sydney Observatory
It is a virtual reality 3 D space theatre show. A historic 29, lens telescope built in 1874, a 42cm computer controlled telescope and hydrogen-alpha solar telescope, beautiful gardens and the beanbag planetarium is present here.



Sydney Harbour Bridge Walk
Walk across the unique Sydney icon that is the Sydney Harbour Bridge and have a great vantage point for panoramic views of the city, harbour and ocean. Great for picture taking, too. The pedestrian way over the bridge is on the eastern side of the span.


Blue Mountains Tours from Sydney

Travel Tips:

Sydney is an extremely safe city, but as anywhere else, it's good to keep your wits about you and your wallet hidden. Be wary in Kings Cross and Redfern at all hours and around Central Station and the cinema strip on George Street near Town Hall station in the evening.
