Location:

Mexico is located in North America, bordering the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, between Belize and the United States, and bordering the North Pacific Ocean, between Guatemala and the US with total land area about 1,923,040 sq km.  Its topography ranges from lowland coastal to high mountain areas.

Mexico's climates vary by region and season. It's a big country with a wide range of climatic zones. Mexico's beach resorts tend to be most pleasant between October and May (June to September can be very hot and humid)

How to Reach:

By Air:
Mexico has dozens of international and domestic airports throughout the country. Among the major airports and their online airport codes are Mexico City , Cancún ,  Acapulco, Guadalajara,  Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and Los Cabos.
By Road:
Greyhound-Trailways (or its affiliates) offers service from around the United States to the Mexican border, where passengers disembark, cross the border, and buy a ticket for travel into Mexico. Many border crossings have scheduled buses from the U.S. bus station to the Mexican bus station.
By Water:
Regular passenger ships run from the USA and South America. A huge number of companies operate cruise services to Mexico. There are also riverboat services from Flores and Tikal (Guatemala) to Palenque, Chiapas in Mexico; enquire locally for details.
By Metro:
Metro is the best and the most reliable means of transportation in the city. Though commonly popular among the masses as metro, its official name is "Sistema de Transporte Colectivo". It is one of the most used underground systems of the world. Commuters prefer because of is speedy services and cheap tickets.

Mexico City:
Mexico City is the capital and one of the most populous cities in the world. It stands beneath two impressive snow capped volcanoes, Popocatépetl and Ixtaccíhuatl. It is also very historic, with many sites from different time periods accessible by visitors. As one of the largest cities in the world, there are museums, archaeological sites, historical buildings and bustling markets to occupy a visitor for months on end. Some of the places you must see are Cathedral Metropolitana, Aztec temples, National Anthropology Museum, Palacio de Bellas.


Chichen Itza:
It is one of the new Seven Wonders of the world  This spectacular place holds both mystery and magic. You can admire the majestic observatory, the sacred cenote, the ball court and castle. The 79-foot-high El Castillo truly is a wonder, built to serve as a massive stone calendar — 365 steps plus 52 panels on each side, and aligned with the sun so that every equinox conjures a shadow snake slithering down the corner of the pyramid to a giant serpent's head at the bottom. Its extraordinary architectural beauty and geographical location are sure to leave you in awe!
Acapulco:

Located on the west coast of Mexico, the picturesque seaside resort of Acapulco is the epitome of fun and relaxation. Once the playground of Hollywood's rich and famous, Acapulco has everything a visitor could want - a rich history (including pirates!), vibrant nightlife, stunning scenery and those extraordinary cliff divers.


Cancun:
Cancun is a most famous and a world renowned  tourist place which has a lot to offer, striking modern hotels on white-sand beaches; high-class entertainment including parachuting, jet-skiing, scuba-diving and golf; a hectic nightlife. Cancún island, is actually a narrow strip of sandy land connected to the mainland at each end by causeways. It encloses a huge lagoon, so there's water on both sides.
Palenque: 
It is a famous archaeological site and tourist attraction situated close the Usumacinta River, Mexico. It is  nestled in the mystical jungle, one of the most comprehensive Mayan cities, along with Tikal, Calakmul and Copan. Palenque is well known throughout the world for its magnificent art, and it has been a World Heritage site protected by UNESCO since 1987.
Teotihuacan:
This is a famous archaeological site situated about 25 miles outside fo Mexico City. The "city of the gods" was a huge urban center with a population of 200 000, occupied from 200 BC to 800 AD. At its peak it was one of the largest cities in the world, and its influence was felt all over Mesoamerica. See the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, walk along the Avenue of the Dead, climb the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon.
Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe:
Guadalupe is the patron saint of Mexico. The image of Guadalupe that appeared to Juan Diego on the very hill (Tepeyac Hill) where the Basilica is constructed is an important and easily recognizable national symbol. There are actually two basilicas on this hill, an old and a new (more modern) one. It is most likely the most important religious building in Mexico and possibly in all of Latin America. The site is particularly important in Catholicism as it is the second most visited religious site after Vatican City.
Copper Canyon:
Copper Canyon is a group of six awesome canyons in the Sierra Tarahumara. This is one of Mexico’s natural, cultural and historic wonders. It covers 25,000 sq. miles of rugged territory. By standing on a canyon rim surrounded by pine oak woodland, you can look down on gaint cactus and tropical trees over 5000 ft below. Here you can have  astunning train ride in this marvelous region. All Copper Canyon trips are on the historic Chihuahua al Pacifico Railroad. The train winds its way from the Pacific Ocean up into the heart of the Canyon’s scenic splendor.

Zapotec City:
It was believed by the scientists and historians that the Zapotec City flourished from 1100 to 1521 A.D. The Zapotec City includes Zaachila, located 15 kilometers south of Oaxaca City, in the center of the town. the site of Zaachila has a group of mounds, including mound B, known as El Cerrito and mound A, on which Roberto Gallegos explored 2 tombs in 1962. Visitors can enter these 2 tombs and learn how Zaachila inhabitants used to build them to bury their dead, according to the individuals' rank. Sure you will be amazed by the historic sites and how people at that time used to live and flourished.

Oaxaca:
The city of Oaxaca is one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico and is a historic landmark. The Central Valleys contain the most important historic tourist attractions in the state. The Central Valleys have archaeological sites, XVI Century convents, baroque temples, civil buildings from the colonial period and museums.

Puerto Vallarta:

It is Located in the center of the Banderas Bay. Embraced by an exuberant vegetation, bathed by the Pacific Ocean, heated by a vibrant sun, refreshed by the summer rain, constantly caressed by the ocean breeze, nourished by the river waters, decorated by palm trees and millions of flowers, contemplated by the moon, illuminated by the stars, in love with life and loved by its inhabitants.
